New
Year's Eve 2012
“Celebrate
what you want to see more of.” Tom Peters
“Cheers
to a new year and another chance for us to get it right.”
Oprah

New
Year's Eve is always a time for resetting the clock. For celebrating
new beginnings, and for allowing the old to pass away with love. It
should be a time for contemplation. Here are some hopes I have for
America in 2013:
- Congress will actually earn the money they are paid by doing their jobs in a spirit of cooperation.
- The war in Afghanistan will end peacefully and our troops will come home.
- The jobless rate will plunge to all time lows.
- Our schools will improve to the point where all children are receiving a superior education in a safe environment.
- The NRA will lead a movement for control of automatic weapons and high caliber ammunition clips.
- Our infrastructure will receive the attention and money it needs.
- We will have a major push for high-speed rails all across America.
Is
that “pie-in-the-sky” enough for you? Nevertheless, it is my wish
list for 2013. I am taking to heart the advice from Tom Peters to
celebrate what you want to see more of. I would love to hear what
your wishes and wants are for the New Year. Email them to me at

I
will not be sad to see 2012 go. It has seemed like a dark, unhappy
time to me. It is my hope and my prayer that 2013 will be a brighter,
better year for all the Earth's children.
May
it be so,
Jane
